COMMUNITY EDUCATION

Through Community Education classes and workshops, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in our community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center, and a source of much pride for our non-profit organization.
WVDRC has offered classes and workshops in active listening, compassionate communication, and non-violent communication.  Stay informed of upcoming classes by subscribing to our newsletter and visiting our events page.
Do you have a suggestion for a topic that would be relevant and benefit our community?  Call or email us with your idea.

MEDIATION TRAINING

WVDRC provides training in mediation theory and skills to anyone interested in acquiring the skills for use in their own personal or professional life, and to all who wish to be among the volunteer certified mediators for WVDRC community mediation sessions. This training covers the philosophy, concepts, and skills needed for a working knowledge of the role of a third party, neutral mediator. These skills are highly transferable, helping to improve communication and enhance relationships at home, in the workplace, and in the community at large.

"The BMT course has taught me a variety of valuable life skills.  I would recommend that everyone take this course especially those who want to expand their problem solving and communication skills."
